If so, you may also have impostor syndrome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/coachlab.hu\/en\/blog\/a-leader-who-is-not-a-good-enough-impostor-in-the-face-of-syndrome\/\" title=\"The Leader Who Is Not Good Enough: The Real Face of Impostor Syndrome\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">impostor syndrome<\/a> egy bels\u0151 bizonytalans\u00e1g, amely miatt az emberek azt \u00e9rzik, hogy nem \u00e9rdemlik meg a sikereiket, \u00e9s hamarosan leleplez\u0151dnek. Hi\u00e1ba a k\u00fcls\u0151 visszajelz\u00e9sek \u00e9s az eredm\u00e9nyek, bel\u00fcl k\u00e9telyek gy\u00f6trik \u0151ket. De vajon mi\u00e9rt alakul ki, \u00e9s hogyan lehet t\u00fall\u00e9pni rajta?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I will describe the causes of impostor syndrome; at least the most common ones I have encountered in my clients' cases, and in my own. (Of course, the examples are not exactly the same as previous client problems, nor are the first names mentioned. So I will now describe below the signs and effects of impostor syndrome. I will also show how the <a href=\"https:\/\/coachlab.hu\/en\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"30\">coaching<\/a> to free you from this paralysing feeling and help you reach your full potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is impostor syndrome?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The term imposter syndrome was first used in 1978 by psychologists Pauline Clance and Suzanne Imes. They observed that many successful people feel that they do not deserve recognition and are in fact not as competent as others think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This phenomenon does not only affect managers or people in high positions. It can affect anyone, from students to entrepreneurs. People with imposter syndrome often struggle with the following thoughts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\"Sikerem csak a v\u00e9letlen m\u0171ve.\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\"M\u00e1sok jobban \u00e9rtenek hozz\u00e1, \u00e9n csak meg\u00faszom.\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\"Hamarosan r\u00e1j\u00f6nnek, hogy nem vagyok el\u00e9g j\u00f3.\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\"Nem \u00e9rdemlem meg a dics\u00e9retet.\"<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-medium-font-size is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\"Eml\u00e9kszem, amikor el\u0151sz\u00f6r \u00fcltem le egy c\u00e9ges \u00e9rtekezleten az igazgat\u00f3tan\u00e1cs el\u00e9, hogy bemutassam a projektemet. Ehhez hasonl\u00f3 volt <strong>one of my clients' first encounter with impostor syndrome<\/strong>, b\u00e1r akkor m\u00e9g nem tudta, hogy ennek neve is van.\"<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why does impostor syndrome develop?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Impostor syndrome can be caused by several factors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Before you read any further, I suggest you think about whether there has ever been a similar case in your case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. <strong>Childhood patterns and family influences<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you were a child and found that you got love and recognition based on your performance, it's easy to develop a sense of always having to prove yourself. And striving for perfection can set the stage for imposter syndrome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. <strong>Social pressure and expectations<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In modern society, there is a strong emphasis on success and results. Social media in particular amplifies this, as many people only show their successes, making it easy to believe that others are more competent than us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. <strong>Comparison with others<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you constantly compare yourself to others, especially those who are more experienced or successful, you can easily underestimate your own worth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. <strong>Perfectionism<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Perfectionists often feel that they are never good enough. Ez nem egy \u00e1ltal\u00e1nos recept, hanem szem\u00e9lyre szabott folyamat; ami val\u00f3di v\u00e1ltoz\u00e1st hoz.\"<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What can you do today about imposter syndrome?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Write down your successes!<\/strong> - Make a list of your achievements and see if they are really yours and not just down to luck.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tell me about it!<\/strong> - Many more people struggle with this than you might think. It's easier to cope in a supportive community.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Take the praise!<\/strong> - Don't reject positive feedback, but learn to welcome it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Don't strive for perfection, strive for improvement!<\/strong> - Making mistakes is a natural part of learning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Get expert help!<\/strong> - If you feel that you can't get out of the imposter syndrome alone, a coach can help.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-medium-font-size is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\"A Sikernapl\u00f3 m\u00f3dszer\u00e9t m\u00e1r az els\u0151 alkalommal bevezetj\u00fck.
